They are equivalent in nutrient density to other superfoods like spinach, kale and moringa but without the use of pesticides. Water lentils are one of the only plants to contain Vitamin B12 making it the ideal source of B12 for vegans and vegetarians. Water lentils grow all year-round and are harvested daily unlike most other crops that require more land and water resources than our tiny plant. We can produce significantly more per acre of land than other traditional crops, which reduces the need for excess land. Water lentils grow in hydroponic ponds on non-arable land, which also means that we will never contribute to deforestation or strip a piece of land of its natural soil composition. Our sustainability goes even further than just our little plants! Our farms recycle 98% of our water usage and are constantly finding new ways to be environmentally friendly, including banning the use of pesticides on our water lentils.
